Before: Window replacement Olinda. A-View Glass’ highly skilled glazier, fixed this window located in Olinda. The window had large cracks radiating out from a central impact point. This type of damage is typical of a stone or object hitting the glass. Our glazier, Colin, removed the cracked glass and cleaned the rebate of old, dried putty. This is often a time consuming aspect of repairing a window. The old putty can sometimes be rock hard like cement.

After: A-View Glass carefully fitted the new glass using putty to match the existing window profile. We always aim to match the original glazing technique using modern methods. The new putty will require time to cure before it needs to be repainted.
